Alain Ingrassia

Biography

A graduate of the Arts et Métiers engineering school, Alain Ingrassia has always had a passion for specific software development. He has worked for numerous companies in a wide variety of fields, including the Arsenal de Toulon, the La Seyne shipyards, Rose Meilland international... As a consultant, for several years he also helped companies achieve ISO 9000 certification.

To facilitate Catherine's work on her master's degree, he created an initial database to help her analyze the images by highlighting significant similarities and differences.

He subsequently developed a more complex and powerful database, which has continued to evolve in line with the needs of medieval dance. Today, this new database contains 2,500 images and 700 texts, enabling multi-criteria searches to highlight the many research themes of archaeo-choreography. The database will soon be expanded to include and list medieval dance music.
